In the last paragraph of the speech, Dr. King hopefully prophesies of the time when we all will be “free” as and after we work together to “…let freedom ring”

“When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, ‘Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

Note: This is a situation in which little Black boys girls (descendants of chattel slaves and Jim Crow survivors, the unwilling immigrants) will be able to join hands with little White boys and girls (immigrants – “White citizens” a Constitutional term) to play and walk together as sisters and brothers.

However, this new environment of peace, as well as freedom ringing, followed by the chorus of “Free at last” will not happen until the Promissory Note is “cashed” – meaning, adequately addressed by the “bank of justice” to “the Negroes” (Spanish for English word black), i.e., descendants of the British American, chattel slaves and Jim Crow survivors, before anything else in the United States can be accomplished or even attempted for foreign nationals and their children’s children.

According to the US Constitution, herein lays the very future and destiny of the United States of America which is based on the Founding Fathers Dream

Please also note:  Without accusing anyone or thing of wrong doing, Dr. King notes that it is the persistent, generational, devastation of the “Negroes” that was/is driving them to march on DC in 1963, saying,

“So we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition”

“In a sense we have come to our nation’s capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir.

This note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned.

Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check which has come back marked “insufficient funds.”

But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.

So we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.”

Therefore, 50 years after he called for it, once again, the American Black US citizen, the descendant of chattel slaves and Jim Crow survivors, remains in not only appalling conditions, but worsening ones, which gives even more impetus to have the “check” – Promissory Note immediately “cashed”, before it is too late to prevent the utter demise of the Union of the United States.

Apparently, it is only after this process has taken place and the condition of the peoples upon whose backs this “nation of immigrants” built, can the hope of “Free at last” become the reality to everybody in this country and throughout the earth.

…“for many of our white brothers…realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.”   MLK, Jr.

Therefore, a moral and immediate, yet benign way in which We the People and our international guests can help fulfill the admonition of young Dr. King, Jr.’s to this “nation of immigrants” is to endorse and move the Proposition of Moratorium throughout the country, and thereby urge the President of the United States initiate the process of “cashing” The Promissory Note.

Also, encourage the President to lead Congress and the US Supreme Court to adopt the Presidential Comprehensive Rescue Plan for the descendants of chattel slaves, Jim Crow survivors and their children’s children.

Without controversy, the descendants of the Americans upon whose backs this “nation of immigrants” is built, unfortunately has great and unequal STANDING to humbly expect that its government and immigrant peoples to heed their request to not “pull the trigger” for any comprehensive immigration reform, initiatives, etc, until complete investigative hearings to determine its impact upon them,  positive of negative, is conducted.

Given the continuing appalling condition that they are in, which is worse today than in 1963, it imperative, morally and spiritually correct to consider the state and fate of the descendants of the chattel slaves with the solemn intent to rectify it.

The CHNC ask, how can anyone or entity deny such a basic request?  It is unimaginable for anyone to even think of attempting to dissuade the Moratorium Proposition, but rather indeed join the growing chorus for such justifiable action by the United States and its We the People charged “to form a more perfect Union”.
