Letter: Yael – Long, Detail Version, August 29th, 2026,

Hey Yael (and Shai) — Shalom!

I hope you’re both well and thriving.

First, thank you again for inviting me to create the one-minute MLK Day video for the Consulate. It meant a great deal to speak—at your request—about the deep, historic bond between the State of Israel and African American federal citizens.

That connection is not abstract to me; I’ve lived it, studied it, and carried it forward as a witness of history all my life, even since a child in France at the age of perhaps 4 year mature, remembering the murder and vividly from the page cover of Jet magazine of young Emmit Til.

Furthermore, since I was 17 years old, during the 1967, “Six Day War” when I first became aware of who the Jews are, and what my family believed is the Divine State of Israel, GOD’s chosen people, whom we are to bless and never curse, as such is not in our best interest, “touch not MY anointed ones, and do MY prophets, no harm.”

“For so said the Lord of Hosts: After glory, HE sent Me to the nations that plunder you, for whoever touches you touches the apple of HIS eye. (Zephaniah 2:12 Tanakh)

For the sake of my people, all my life I have sought to bless Jews and Israel, that perhaps, Abraham’s GOD would in turn bless them/us.

And that, for centuries, you, i.e., Hebrew Israelites have literally born the Written Word of The Almighty of Moses in your bosom and have on earth and in the spirit realm suffered for, that we goyim-gentiles might also come to know HIM as well, as he has promised to Abraham, Abba of Manay nations, children as the stars of Heaven, sand of the sea shore, dust of the death.

I am an American African, born a chattel slave descendant, Jim Crow surviving, being born in 1951, during the Korean War, of which my father was a combat soldier, a US federalized, “black” citizen by the 1866 Civil Rights-14th Amendment Act, being 75 this March 9th.

I’m writing now because something important is taking shape, and I want you to be close to it from the beginning.

Below are links to materials I’ve prepared regarding Saturday, August 29, 2026—the 63rd Commemoration of the 1963 Civil Rights March on Washington, DC, taking place during America’s 250th anniversary year.

At this early stage, the most critical task is narrative clarity. Before sponsors, institutions, faith leaders, or bipartisan partners step forward, the foundation layer—the first circle of trusted participants—must understand what we are doing, why we are doing it, and why this moment matters now.

The documents reflect both research and lived experience. As a Jim Crow survivor in every sense of the term, I bring not only history, but memory—along with strategy, structure, and vision for what can grow beyond a single day: governance, mission, organization, financing, promotion, and ultimately a sustainable, joyful, future-facing movement.

In my 75 years, I have learned not to make the same mistakes of those young, 1960’s, unequipped predecessors, which frayed the sacred bond of foreparents, a bond we will restore and make even more significant and practical than ever before.

There is also something else embedded in this work—something our foreparents in the 1960s could not have known.

By Divine Providence, they, who did not know as we now know them, laid for us the generational foundation for the long-awaited Posterity of “We the People” envisioned by the Founders.

In a time of national strain and global uncertainty, we are being called to build upon that foundation and carry it forward into what I believe is America’s Golden Age — New Frontier II.

The President Trump-led, July 4th celebrations form a plateau upon which August 29th will fully launch the march to the Promissory Note Promised Land within America’s Golden Age.

The American people’s fervor for more patriotic efforts will avoid the naturally following depressive states that follow such a July 4th event, of “Now whatism?”, and can instead look forward to the exciting next level, American adventure that August 29th brings us.

At its heart, this is about the awakening of “We the People” as a functioning body politic, exactly as ordered by the Preamble of the Constitution in 1789—proving again that a people-driven republic works, that the American Experiment was right, and that tyranny does not get the final word.

It is especially fitting that this declaration comes in August 2026, under the echo of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream.” On that day, we will articulate—clearly and courageously—the meaning of the Promissory Note he spoke of, and the path forward to the Promised Land he saw from the mountaintop.

And here is where Israel matters—deeply.

With the bold confidence of Am Yisrael Chai, and the covenantal courage of Abraham’s children, this moment calls for head-and-not-tail leadership—Jew and Gentile together as Abba Abraham, with the Melchezedeck Spirit of GOD—walking in justice, Mercy and Truth, thereby security, of Shalom, and hopeful adventure with GOD, for this generation and those yet to come.

Yael, I’m sharing this with you not merely for awareness, but because your voice, your wisdom, and your participation matter. I would truly value your thoughts—and your presence—as this begins to take form.

With excitement, respect, and Shalom,
Ted Hayes
