Subject: EXODUS II: A Lawful, Moral, and Strategic Answer to Homelessness Before the 2028 LA Olympics

Dear President Trump,

I write to you today not only as a citizen, but as a man who has lived among and served the homeless for over four decades. I commend your recent Executive Order seeking to address the urgent homelessness crisis in our great cities. Indeed, it is time for decisive action.

Sir, while well-intentioned, as you already know, there is growing — and possibly organized — protest against your order.

There’s no need to reiterate what you’re already hearing.

But for the sake of your legacy and the preservation of our constitutional Union, I humbly urge you to consider another path. One rooted in history, morality, and lawful authority.

We respectfully submit the “EXODUS II: 2028” LA Olympics Homeless Resolution Initiative — a strategic, peaceful, and patriotic alternative to forced relocation. This initiative is built on:

  • The spirit of the 1862 Homestead Act

  • The constitutional legacy of citizenship, justice, and due process

  • The prophetic vision of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., whose “Promissory Note” now finds its material expression in federal lands

  • Then on April 3, 1968, in his last public speech, Martin Luther King, prophesied the coming of America’s Promised Land, which now that “someday Dream” can be fulfilled, as all matters are in perfect order for such.

“And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain (referenceing the Judaic Moses), And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight that we, as a people, will get to the promised land.

And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!

Rather than the tent cities styles, which are a good, but nor permanent initiative, let us pioneer a new beginning.

We propose initial secure transitional tent encampments on vast, unused federal lands as a first step toward 21st-century tech, permanent housing, which will spawn an architectural renaissance of significant present and future consequence, with civilian-led and supervised military logistical support but under civilian control, per the Constitution.

Let the homeless be seen not as blight to be hidden, but as the first citizens of a renewed America. They are the 21st-century pioneers, called to settle this land in justice.

We include here:

  • A summary flyer

  • A contextual blog article

  • A proposal for peaceful federal coordination under “We the People”

Mr. President, you have the rare opportunity to transform your Golden Age vision into lasting history.

Including the New Frontiers II elements, you, like Lincoln, hold the pen that can make it real. The world will follow what America does next.

I would appreciate the opportunity to meet with you or your team. We are ready to help.

Respectfully and patriotically yours,
