The Story of Justiceville and Its Aftermath
Forty (40) years ago (January 1985-May 2025), this, the only basic blueprint, Strategic National Plan to humanely resolve homelessness and its causes, was conceived and birthed within the legendary Justiceville shantytown-encampment.

Justiceville, the Progenitor of Dome Village, the initial step to the Strategic National Plan, was the original, first politically (non-electoral) oriented homeless encampment in US history.

Justiceville is the “godfather” of today’s encampment movement in LA, Hawaii, and throughout America, thanks to its October 1985 victorious jury court case, ” The Defense of Necessity.”

Justiceville was located in the bowels of Skid Row, the “Ground 0” and “Black Hole” homelessness with downtown Los Angeles, the National Capital of Homelessness, and that of homeless US military Veterans.
